Abdulaziz joined the Cardiac Surgery Residency Program at the University of Toronto in 2024. His interest in the intricacies of human biology has guided his path since high school, ultimately leading him to pursue a career in medicine. During his medical school years, the heart became his focal interest after a pivotal cardiac surgery rotation, where he observed the profound impact of surgical interventions on patient outcomes. This experience cemented his dedication to the field of cardiac surgery. Beyond his clinical and academic endeavors, Abdulaziz helped establish the Cardiac Surgery Interest Group at King Saud University, where he played a key role in promoting academic and professional development among his peers. Abdulaziz is actively involved in community health initiatives, focusing on raising awareness. When he is not in scrubs, Abdulaziz is an avid runner and weightlifting enthusiast. He also enjoys art and literature; Agatha Christie is his particular favorite writer.
